Mohair Yarn

Mohair Yarn reminds me of angora yarn that was used to knit or crochet the little bunny collars of the 50's. The yarn is a thin thread with the mohair fiber left unspun thereby making it look like real hair. It's easy to use, especially with felting needles or by wefting it on a hair loom. You can curl it on doll rollers or dowels and "set" it with your steam iron. 25 yard skein for $4.50.

Firestar Top  Roving

Firestar Top is synthetic fiber (nylon) that can add pizzazz to your dolls.  They have extraordinary sparkle. The white icicle is the perfect hair for angels. This is a doll hair you have to try.  Perfect for use with your felting needles. Comes in 2 ounce packages (about 5 feet of roving).

Tibetan Lamb Wool is the ever popular hair used by so many designers like Barbara Willis and Leta Benedict.  These skins (also known as plates) are made into the actual wig for your doll.   The hair is beautiful and silky - about 3 inches long.  The white and natural can be dyed using acid dyes made for wool or our wonderful Colorhue Dyes.  We are offering a variety of sizes for everyone from the novice to the expert!

Alpaca Roving: Alpaca Roving is super fine, super soft, and super wonderful for use with Felting Needles.  The colors are natural and beautiful.  Black is intensely black.  Carmel is a beautiful rich honey brown color.  Auburn is a warm deep reddish brown.  Nutmeg is light brown with telltale signs of gray making perfect for dolls who are showing their age a bit!  One ounce bag equals about a 5 foot length.  Enough for many, many dolls!

Mohair Roving:  Beautiful fine young mohair that has been combed into a roving.  This fiber dyes beautifully and can be curled and styled.  Another wonderful fiber to use with Felting Needles.  Natural Color. One Ounce bag - about a five foot length.
 

Wavy Locks: Wavy Locks is shimmering wavy doll hair of pure viscose.  It is like the doll hair of the 1940 & 50's fashion dolls - fine like spider webs!  Angels cry for this hair!
